How many posts did you write?

I wrote 13 post on my blog in total .

How many were school based, your own interests or set by the challenge?

5 of my posts were school based, 1 was my own interest, 9 of them were set by the challenge.

How many comments did you receive from classmates, teachers or overseas students?

Sadly I only got 1 comment 🙁

Which post received the most comments? Why do you think that happened?

The digital foot print got the only comment. I think it is because thinking about digital foot prints are cool.

Which post did you enjoy writing the most and why?

I enjoyed writing the child rights challenge the most because it was educating and cool to learn about.

Did you change blog themes at all and why?

I changed the themes a lot until it suited me. I went through a lot of the backgrounds and looked for pictures online to make my own theme.

How many widgets do you have? Do you think this is too many or not enough?

I have 9 widgets in total. I think 9 is the right amount because there is a widget beside each one of my posts.

How many overseas students do you have on your blogroll?

I do not have any oversea students on my blogroll

I looked at all the blogs my class wrote and scored them on layout, colour, content and pictures. Then I totalled the individual scores to create a total score for each person. Arnav scored the highest out of all the people! Check out the graph below to see the class scores.

I liked Arnav’s blog best because I liked how he organized it. He included lots of pictures and not just text and he made an Anmoto video that I really enjoined watching. Every thing he wrote made sense. The grammar and punctuation was very good too. He also included lots of details about Pokemon and Hockey. The blog was very colourful and interesting. I could tell he put a lot of effort into the blog. These are the reasons why like Arnavs blog. You should check it out!

Today I will be talking about Minecraft. Minecraft is one of the best games I have played on the computer. In Minecraft you can play creative or survival mode. In creative mode you start with all the materials you need to create anything you want, like a house, a waterfall or a lava pit. Creative mode helps you to learn what to do in survival mode. I like survival mode because you need to find the materials to stay alive so creepers, spiders, zombies and skeletons don’t kill you. It is also fun because you can mine for diamonds, gold, iron and coal. You can make these materials into swords, pickaxes, bows, axes, hoes and shovels. I also like minecraft because every thing is squares and looks like pixels. But most of all I like minecraft because you get to use your imagination!!!

A great post has lots of detail. To write a good post, you need to give lots of info about what you are researching from a lot of different web sites. Have a link to the source of were you got the info from in the post. Try not to get off topic and don’t just copy from web sites, put it in your own words. Spell all the words correct and use punctuation like periods and comas. The information needs to be accurate. Your should also use graphics and write about an interesting topic. Prof read it to yourself to make sure it makes sense. Try to make connections between your experiences and what you are writing about and give your own opinion.
